Subject: Monitor Tue Jan 22, 2013 6:57 am

Since I got my monitor my SPM is averaging 400 across all gamemodes (440 in KC) and my K/D is 1.6. You guys need monitors. That is all.

What kind of monitor did you get? I'm about to start building my home office so I think I'll buy a 24" tv to use for my ps3 and work laptop.

I wouldn't.
Used to be a PC gamer, did Doom 2/Quake/TF/CS/etc. all on a monitor, I'm in retirement now. Very Happy

LCD right now, I've heard Plasma response is fast, but technically LED is just as fast.

I have the LG LED/LCD 47".. 240hz refresh. Tv is absolutely sick for gaming. Super bright and clear , ultra responsive (no motion blur whatsoever)and unbelievably thin.. Even after 6-7-8 hours of gaming, it never puts off a hint of heat.

I currently play on a 42" Panasonic Viera Plasma that I used to use before I got my 46" Samsung Smart tv. I figured since I'm getting a monitor for my work station I should try it out for gaming.

Havnt played on a monitor yet but I hear is awsome .I'm playing on my samsung 70" ledits almost too big. It takes up my whole wall

Plasma's in general have a refresh rate of 600hz, although it's kind of arbitrary as it's made up. They refresh just as fast as a CRT. You'd have to do some checking though to find out what the input lag is like.

Here's some reading if you're interested in input lag and such. They also list a ton of TV's and Monitors that have been tested.
